Alright so I've always liked messing with video/editing but never gotten too serious with it. When I first got my truck I used to make some quick videos and throw it online for people to check out. I would try and do a little editing and better filming than your typical Youtube truck video where a guy sets his camera down, hits switches, and that's it.

Well now that I have a pretty nice DSLR that takes decent quality video, I've been wanting to try more with it. I have a couple buddies who are into video which has kind of gave me more of an itch to try it more seriously myself. So now I'm just starting to get other gear and equipment to help the quality of my own videos. First thing I got was a fluid head tripod for better pans and today I got my new Cam Caddie in the mail. Basically its a stabilizer for cameras so the footage is smoother. I also bought a camera slider today that should come in the mail just in time for S.O.L. 5 next weekend.
Did this in December 2010 with my DSLR before I got the fluid head tripod
Tomorrow is the Trucks & Mutts show held by Outlandish Trends in Lawton, OK. I'll be going down there sharing a booth with SoLo Films, taking photos, networking, and probably doing a little video work!
